"Beautiful experience for all ages"
We had a boat trip on the Red Red Wine from Jolly Harbour over to Carlisle Bay and from start to finish, it was absolutely amazing. As soon as we got to Jolly Harbour we were greeted warmly by our Captain, David. He was incredibly friendly, all-round pleasant and kept us laughing throughout the duration of the day. As well as this, he educated us with fun facts and information on the island and our surroundings as we were passing out on sea.
The journey over to Carlisle Bay was just beautiful. The water was so blue and we even saw some turtles bobbing along ahead of the boat! David kept our cups topped up with rum / fruit punch, water and juice throughout the trip. Once we arrived at our destination, we snorkelled (every piece of equipment you need is provided) and saw some beautiful fish.
We then went onto the beach which was stunning. We had it all to ourselves! David then sliced up a fresh pineapple and served it out which was lovely and refreshing. I can’t recommend this trip enough. It’s brilliant for absolutely everyone – groups of friends, families and people of all ages. Thank you for an amazing day that we won’t forget!
"Best day of the holiday"
This was a great trip. Communication with Michelle, making arrangements beforehand, was easy and efficient. Our boat was skippered by David and guided by Sheldon. We were able to go where we wanted but we asked Sheldon to make suggestions so we snorkelled by the wreck as well as on the reef. Michelle had made us sandwiches for the trip (best tuna sandwiches ever according to our hungry teens!.) We decided to stop off at a restaurant on the beach for lunch and the boat waited for us. We had discussed this before leaving so Michelle had sorted it all out for us.
We were a group of 5 and had plenty of space and shade for those who wanted it.
Sheldon was very knowledgeable so pointed out all sorts of points of interest as we passed the coastline on our way to the reef. There’s nothing better than being out on the water – I would recommend this trip to anyone.
"Stunning experience"
Absolutely amazing experience. Michelle accommodated all our requests and made some amazing vegetarian sandwiches for us. I found it complete value for money. We went to 3 different snorkeling spots and a tiny hike up the Bird Island. All with some amazing drinks and story telling.
"The best view of the island"
Our knowledgeable captain gave our family of four a fantastic tour along the beautiful coastline of Antigua on Red Red Wine. We snorkelled on the reef, visited unspoilt beaches and enjoyed snacks and drinks provided. This was good value for money and undoubtedly gave the best view of the island.
"Highly Recommend Sea Cat Discoveries"
We were picked up at Dickenson Bay close to where we were staying, which was greatly appreciated. The guide was on time, very friendly and very knowledgeable. The 4 of us were the only ones on the boat, so it was a personal trip. He took us to 3 different snorkeling spots and even snorkeled with us at one of the spots and found an octopus! He gave us some highlights of the bays and areas around where we snorkeled, including what to look for underwater in the specific area (unfortunately, we didn’t see the large sea turtle off of Prickly Pear Island). We all enjoyed our 3 hours and highly recommend Sea Cat Discoveries!
